The 20 year old internal conflict in South Sudan has taken a heavy toll on the lives of the people. Thousands of lives have been lost, people and families have been displaced and communities have been destroyed. Many families live outside South Sudan in refugee camps in Kenya, Uganda, Egypt and in Northern Sudan or have moved to Europe, Australia and North America. For families that remained in South Sudan there is an entire generation of uneducated or undereducated people.

If you can see yourself volunteering in a place where life is slow-paced and simple—but the needs are massive—you can be of immeasurable service to our, friendly community. Volunteers help Education project, Micro-Credit project and Health Care Projects and we can as well arrange tailor-made volunteer placements- whereby you let us know about your skills, interests and when you would like to come and we shall accept you into our program.

We look for volunteers who are:
- Between the ages of 18 and above
- University graduates and under-graduates, High school students are also accepted
- Enthusiastic about working as part of a team to meet the community’s most basic needs
- Able to offer 2weeks to more months of service
- Basic English knowledge
Volunteers should prepare themselves to be flexible. For example, if you are assigned to do medical work you may learn that the organization actually needs help with fundraising. Things can move slowly and be unpredictable in South Sudan. Be patient, be patient, be patient. Assess your skills and be honest with potential host organizations if you do not have much experience.
